Golden Plains Parents/Guardians

On Tuesday at approximately 10:45 the Sheridan County Sheriff contacted us that we were being requested to lock down both the Selden and Rexford campuses while they conducted a search for a suspect that was at large.  After about an hour we were able to open both campuses back up to normal after being notified that the incident was resolved.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused with the normal operations of our schools.  We were able to contact all our 3 year old parents to explain the delay in picking up their students from the morning pre school class. 

Student and staff safety is always a priority therefore we isolated all students and staff in their respective buildings until we were given the all call. 

I want to thank the quick response and attention that both the Sheridan and Thomas County Sheriff departments gave to resolve this situation.
